Plucked Teaser Draws National Coverage, Including a ComingSoon Exclusive

ComingSoon runs a featured exclusive; coverage lands at Yahoo Entertainment, AOL and Film Industry Network

NEW YORK, NY — The teaser trailer for Plucked drew national coverage in the week following its July 6 release, led by a featured exclusive at ComingSoon. Additional pickup appeared at Yahoo Entertainment, AOL, Film Industry Network and openPR, placing the Gilded Age dark comedy in front of mainstream entertainment audiences four months ahead of its theatrical release.

The teaser introduces Katherine Greene (Katie Vincent), a woman who makes the boldest decision available to her in 1886: divorce. When her husband Peter (Jared Canfield) learns of her intentions on the night of an important dinner party, a polite and civilized evening spirals into chaos. The film also stars Catherine Curtin (Orange Is the New Black, Stranger Things) and J. Anthony Crane (Outer Banks, Succession).

Plucked has won three awards on its 2026 festival run: Best Feature Film at the East Village New York Film Festival, Best Dark Comedy Film at the New York International Film Awards, and Best Horror Feature Film at the Garden State Film Festival, where the film had its World Premiere. It also played as Opening Night Film at the Manhattan Film Festival.

The film opens in limited theatrical release on November 13, 2026, ahead of a wide digital release on January 15, 2027. The full theatrical trailer arrives this fall.
